  • Effective learning approaches in the 21st Century

    Learning is the process of acquiring new or altering existing knowledge, behaviors, skills, values or preferences. There are many ways of learning which depend upon the choice of the instructor as well as the preferences of the learner. The knowledge of different learning techniques is useful for various academic and business organizational contexts. In this issue of JRP, five of the studies discuss some effective learning strategies. First, a paper by Mohmoud, Khair and Othman, discusses how to enhance the learning process using a double-loop theory which is effective for health care staff in cutting unnecessary costs in the purchasing process. The second paper by Hao and Kosnin sheds a light on the use of the interactive learning method "Tarsia" to improve students' mathematics learning. The third paper of this issue is by Adam, Yusof, and Hamdan. They experimentally examined the effectiveness of a collaborative teaching approach manual on the mastery of basic standards of literacy writing Malay language. The fourth paper by Jima'ain, Hehsan, and Mohamad discusses the that challenges that Islamic education teachers face in the face of industrial revolution 4.0. They emphasized on the use of creative and technology-based techniques for the teachers. The sixth paper by Yunus and Mohamed investigated the competency of preschool teachers in identifying children who are at risk of any learning disability. The seventh paper was discussed the mediating effect of trust on the relationship between psychological contract and psychological employment contract breach among employees.
