Many researchers have studied various fields of group theory using dihedral groups and one of them is the study of the coprime probability of a group and it is defined as </em><em>the probability of a random pair of elements in a group </em><em>G</em> <em>such that the greatest common divisor of the order of </em><em>x</em><em> and </em><em>y,</em><em> where x and y are in G, is equal to one.</em><em> The coprime probability of G is then extended to the relative coprime&nbsp; probability G and it is defined as the probability that two randomly selected elements h &nbsp;from H and g from G where H is a subgroup of a group G such that the greatest common divisor of the order of h and order of g, is equal to one.&nbsp; In this research, the concentration is on the generalization of the relative coprime probability for cyclic subgroups of some dihedral groups.</em></p> Nurfarah Zulkifli Nor Muhainiah Mohd Ali Copyright (c) 2020 Open Journal of Science and Technology 2020-12-29 2020-12-29 3 4 314 321 10.31580/ojst.v3i4.1679 HEAT TRANSFER AND BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW THROUGH A THIN FILM OF HYBRID NANOPARTICLES EMBEDDED IN KEROSENE BASE FLUID PAST AN UNSTEADY STRETCHING SHEET <p><em>The present work explored the heat transfer and boundary layer flow of a hybrid nanofluid or nanoparticles in an unsteady thin film flow over a stretching sheet. The similarity variables with techniques of the similarity transformations are introduced to reduce the governing equations of partial differential equations (PDEs) systems into a set of an ordinary differential equation (ODEs) system accompanying boundary conditions. The carbon nanotubes with single-wall, SWCNT and the multi-wall, MWCNT in kerosene base fluid are considered. The “bvp4c” function in the MATLAB software is used to solve the reduced form of the mathematical model numerically. The graphs and tables have been generated with the variations of the governing parameter. There exists a strong corelation between findings currently and published results. The influence of several parameters towards the model are discussed and solved by the method of collocation, namely bvp4c solver that can find in MATLAB software. In this paper, we focused on the effect of parameters are unsteadiness parameter λ, thermocapillarity number M, constant mass transfer parameter S, and concentration of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;towards the model.&nbsp; The numerical results have been obtained and shown in table and graph form. Ingredients of concrete include cement, sand and aggregates. Cement production is associated with CO2 emission and green house emission issues. Availability of sand and aggregate is also creating serious issue these days. Handling of concrete required technical expertise and day to day research advancements are made to solve issues related to concrete being weak in tensile strength. Weakness is concrete can be mitigated by adding fibers which help to improve tensile strength of concrete. Fibers are available in the form of waste polythene, discarded rubber tyres of automobiles, etc. Polymer fibers can provide better strength. It increases ductility and reduces deflection in large concrete members of structure. In current work, Polythene and rubber tyres were cut down to fine fibers and added in concrete as replacement to cement in different incremental percentages. M30 grade of concrete was prepared. M30 and above grade concrete are generally utilized in construction of industrial flooring. Different tests performed on polymer fiber induced concrete revealed that it can be suitably used as substitute to normal M30 concrete for temperature and impact resistant flooring construction.</p> Manoj Wagh Piyush Bhandari Ayan Sengupta Copyright (c) 2020 Open Journal of Science and Technology 2020-12-29 2020-12-29 3 4 345 354 10.31580/ojst.v3i4.1630 TVET STUDENT TEACHERS’ SOFT SKILL PROFILE OF COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (CAD) COURSES AT MALAYSIAN TEACHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE <p><em>Soft skills are very much needed and have to be mastered in improving the self-performance of all graduates. The imbalance between academic curriculum and soft skills can also affect the quality of student teachers. A pilot study was also conducted to identify the level of mastery of soft skills (critical thinking and problem solving skills) of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) student teachers through learning Computer Aided Design (CAD) course using a self-developed profile. Thus, the aim of this study was to validate the developed profile. A quantitative method was employed where questionnaires were distributed for data collection. 37 TVET student teachers were involved in this study. Descriptive statistics using statistical packages for the social science version 25.0 (SPSS version 25.0) were adopted for data analyses. The value of cronbach alpha obtained for the instrument used was 0.974 which was considered high. In addition, the Kappa value obtained was 0.972, indicating a very good agreement from the 3 experts. The findings revealed that participants’ mean scores for critical thinking and problem solving skills were 3.439 and 3.437 respectively which revealed that the student teachers were having moderate levels of soft skills. Hence, this study is important and relevant in helping to validate the instrument developed that can be utilised by the lecturers to gain&nbsp; feedback on the mastery level of soft skills among TVET student teachers. Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in Indonesia, certainly has such one of the biggest problems in the world, especially in big cities such as Jakarta. This is mostly contributed by the number of vehicles in Jakarta. Combine with current trends of Online transportation; the problem is getting bigger. Online transportation is on the rise in Indonesia. Sometimes seen as providing more benefits to people of Indonesia, online transportation also has its side-effects. As the number of online transportations rises, so is the level of traffic in big cities such as Jakarta. This traffic is also getting worse due to the bad driving behavior of Indonesian people, especially the online transportation driver.
