Abstract

A revolution of information technology through big data for data processing is beyond human scale. It is affecting around the globe in specifically to the education provider. There is a need and demand for software, digitalisation, and processing power development for unlimited database development to respond. The study aims to determine how well-prepared the UTMSPACE is to meet the new data management planning requirement in developing the big data management application. The study is a supplementary in the development of strategic management planning in digitalisation and data management centre. This study using qualitative and quantitative methods for its exploratory and data processing application research. The analysis that reflects findings helps identify the weaknesses and strengths in preparing data management applications to achieve management strategic plan outcomes. The study suggests the company increase awareness of the importance of big-data management through data processing engines that provide more organised and centralised data and information centres. In addition, the result also shared what type of data and information need in prioritising the organisation strategies in implementing the aim of the lifelong learning programme in different setting environments and sectors.
