The Effect of Village Funds and Economic Growth on Welfare Communities In Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, 2015-2018

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of village funds and economic growth on the welfare of district communities on the islands of Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques, so as to produce secondary data in the form of village funds reports, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDRP), and Human Development Index (HDI) reports in district on the island of Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi period 2015-2018 which has been published on the official website Central Bureau of Statistics in Indonesia. The type of data is desciptive data, meaning that the data is obtained through calculation. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method with considerations in accordance with the objectives of the study. The samples are determined by disstricts in the island of Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi period 2015-2018. The conclusion from testing that village funds had a positive effect on community welfare, and economic growth had a negative effect on community welfare.
